I actually thought Homer using an app to get chores done would've made for a great story but then it completely forgets about it making it completely pointless. If only they hadn't wasted so much time with the that stupid Abe subplot maybe they could've developed this a bit more. Never mind the fact that is not possible given her age but this subplot is completely pointless and adds nothing to this episode with already too many things going on! I'm serious you could edit it out of the episode and you wouldn't miss a thing! Oh but there's even a subplot about Abe getting an elder woman pregnant. Not only does this show up at the halfway point much like Percy's plot in the Thomas episode Seeing Is Believing but it ends just as quickly and abruptly with them chasing each other in golf carts Bart gets injured and they forgive each other. I think one it's glaring problems is that there's too many plots to follow first we get a plot about Homer using an app to get chores done but then it switches gears to a plot about Homer and Bart fighting which is something we've already seen before and then when Milhouse and Kirk get involved they completely forget about the App plot and now we get a plot and about Homer bonding with Milhouse and Bart bonding with Kirk. This episode of The Simpsons was definitely a headscratcher.
